Diane Tasaka
Founder & Chief Operating Officer
Diane Tasaka spent 10 years with Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the country’s largest investor-owned utilities, most recently as principal manager of advertising, brand and creative. In that role, she was responsible for brand management, advertising, web and social media, communications analytics, ESG reporting and creative services.
In 2019, Diane led SCE’s brand repositioning and launched the company’s first major brand campaign in 20 years. She oversaw award-winning advertising campaigns; the Edison Studio offering video, graphics and animation capabilities; and a robust social media presence. Diane won the Edison Award, the highest honor bestowed by SCE.
Prior to joining SCE, Diane co-founded and spent seven years managing the marketing communications firm, HT Group, which assisted prominent nonprofits with strengthening their brands, donor outreach and online communications. Prior to HT Group, she led the national, multicultural marketing, media relations and corporate philanthropy functions for Farmers Insurance.
Diane received her master’s degree from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs and her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of California, Irvine. She is also a graduate of the Coro Public Affairs Leadership program and the Asian Pacific American Women’s Leadership Institute.
