Yvette Herrera, CFRE

Yvette is currently Chief Philanthropy Officer at Computer 2 Kids, the largest non-profit computer refurbisher in the country. Providing computers to under-resourced children and families, the non-profit is helping lead the way in the effort to reduce the Digital Divide and, along the way, reduce e-waste.
Prior to her current position, Yvette served as Senior Director of Philanthropy at All For Kids (formerly Children's Bureau). In that capacity, she led strategy and implementation, raising over $4 million in annual contributed income for the 120-year-old child welfare organization.
As a fundraising consultant with Netzel Grigsby Associates, Yvette supported non-profits in southern and northern California, including churches, independent schools and social service. She developed and implemented fundraising studies and strategies, helping to raise over $40 million in five years.
Yvette has also served as Director of Philanthropy and Community Engagement for the Burbank Community YMCA; as a Director of Planning at the United Way of Greater Los Angeles; and was co-founder of HT Group, a marketing consulting firm that specialized in non-profits communications.
She has been recognized as a 29th Congressional District Woman of the Year by Congressman Adam Schiff and as Big Sister of the Year by Big Brothers, Big Sisters of America. She has co-chaired Asian Pacific Heritage Month for the City of Los Angeles; is a graduate and past board president of Leadership California; a past board president of Family Promise of the Verdugos (now Home Again Los Angeles); and a past board president of the Greater Los Angeles Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.
Yvette holds a Bachelor of Arts from Scripps College, was selected Outstanding Recent Alumna in 2000 and serves on the Scripps Alumnae Leadership Council. She also earned a certificate from the UCLA Anderson School of Business, Price Entrepreneurial Center, and is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
